Very difficult roofs or very dirty chimneys can lead to additional charges for rotary sweeps or safety equipment. Occasionally a man lift is required to get to the top of a chimney. PLEASE NOTE that this service is only available to previous Wooden Sun customers. Wooden Sun requires a Level II inspection for all new customers, to ensure that your chimney meets codes and safety requirements. Level II video scans are $299 for the first fireplace and/or stove, including a sweep, and $199 for each additional fireplace/stove. In accordance with CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) standards, Wooden Sun requires a Level II Sweep & Inspection for all new customers and for customers who are selling their home or who have had a chimney fire. During a Level II sweep and inspection, we put a camera down the flue to make sure everything is in tip-top shape and there is no internal damage. For more information, please visit http://www.csia.org/inspections.html Regular gas maintenance is $159 for the first fireplace and/or stove, and $139 for each additional fireplace/stove. Note: routine maintenance work is NOT a service call, which is specifically to address problems or malfunctions with your appliance. Wood & masonry service are $149 for the first 30 minutes, and $149/hour thereafter, billed in 1/4 hour increments.
